As a facility manager, you can now invite nurses to single or multiple shifts using block scheduling.

Step 1: Creating Block Schedule Shifts

Block schedule shifts can be created via:

Step 2: Selecting Nurses

Nurses can be invited if they:

  • Have applied for a shift at your facility

  • Have an active license and are not suspended or marked as Do Not Return (DNR) at your facility

Nurses cannot be invited if they:

  • Have never applied or booked a shift at your facility

  • Are suspended, DNR’d, or do not have a license for your facility's state

Step 3: Selecting Pay Rates

The displayed minimum and maximum rates are based on the nurse’s highest active license in that state.

Step 4: Managing Refused & Expired Shifts

Facility managers can allow shifts to open up to other nurses if an invite is refused or expires.

  • If enabled, the shift remains open for other nurses.

  • If disabled, the shift is deleted upon expiration or refusal.

By following these steps, facility managers can efficiently schedule and manage shifts.
