Our technology has mutiple reminders and safegaurds in place to ensure that doesn’t happen. But if you do have the unfortunate experience of a nurse not showing up for a shift, you can report them as NCNS (No Call No Show).

Here's how to report it to ESHYFT

You can report a NCNS (No Call No Show), if a nurse is confirmed for your shift and:

  1. Has not shown up for the shift

  2. Did not let you know about calling out of the shift

How can I report a NCNS?

You can report a NCNS from:

  • The Shifts screen

  • The Schedule screen

  • the nurse profile, when it's related to a shift

30 minutes after a shift's start time, if a nurse has not clocked in to the shift then you'll see an active red 'Report NCNS' button by the nurse's name.

When you click the 'Report NCNS' button, you'll see a pop-up that asks you to confirm you're reporting a NCNS.

Once both checkboxes are selected, the Report NCNS button will be active and you can report the NCNS.

When can I report a NCNS?

30 minutes after a shift starts and a confirmed nurse did not clock into the shift.

When can't I report a NCNS?

  2. If the nurse clocked in and out of the shift already
